The story starts with people who genuinely believe you can have it all…
…In 2014 Clint Hansen was laid off from Target for the first time. It was early in his professional career and he was still trying to answer the proverbial question: what do I want to be when I grow up? A family friend reached out with an invitation to join his real estate brokerage as a REALTOR® at Bjorklund Realty, and Clint took the chance and became a licensed agent. Low and behold, after six months Target called with a new job opportunity, which Clint happily accepted with the caveat that he could continue to pursue his real estate career. A year later, Clint was once again part of layoffs at Target, but this time he still had another career to fall back on, a generous severance package and took up the opportunity to get his MBA from St. Thomas University, class of 2019.
While in the MBA, Clint met Bryan…
Bryan Lippincott likes to say he has already retired from his first career: professional baseball. After a few years spent toiling in the minor leagues, he hung it up for good in 2014 and began his “other” professional career at U.S. Bank. In 2016, with a few years of work experience under his belt, Bryan decided to pursue an MBA from St. Thomas University. In his first class he happened to sit next to Clint, who introduced himself and noted he was a REALTOR®. Bryan had always been interested in real estate. While pursuing an MBA and expecting his first child with his wife, Marlayna, Bryan decided that both he and Marlayna should pursue a second career in Real Estate. Within a year they had both joined Clint at Bjorklund Realty.
A few years later…
Bryan and Clint shared a vision where they would be able to provide first class service and a personal touch as REALTORS®, and in May 2020 Clint turned that vision into reality by opening Birch Realty. Bryan and Marlayna quickly joined him and together with Kate, Clint’s wife who manages marketing and office activities, we are proud to be in business pursuing a dream and helping clients achieve theirs.
At the heart of it we are two young families who are hard working, making memories and love working with our clients on their next home adventure!
